The FR3 Adult SMART Pads III serve as adult pads unless, in the case of an infant/child rescue situation, the rescuer uses the optional infant/child KEY to convert them to infant/child pads. The key reduces the shock energy level to match that of a child’s size. The ease of use of this process makes these versatile pads low maintenance and low cost.
